Certified Pinnacle Business Guide

I founded my first company at the age of 24. I had already started repairing electrical and electronic devices during my training as an electronics technician and was able to earn some money with my company while studying to become an electronics engineer.

I was already bitten by the entrepreneurial bug back then. Nevertheless, after graduating I decided to gain experience in industry first. Ten years later, I took the definitive step from employee to entrepreneur. I set up an IT company with a good friend. After three years, I decided to set up my own company. I founded Antarius GmbH in Feusisberg. I used it to implement IT projects in large companies. At the same time, I began to coach and accompany other entrepreneurs on their journey. I invested in various companies and accompanied them as an advisor, investor and sometimes also as a member of the board of directors.

Discovery of EOS®

In the fall of 2018, I returned frustrated from a strategy weekend at one of these companies. Although we had developed good ideas over two days, we had also noticed that we had not achieved any of the goals we had set ourselves between the last strategy weekend and this one. I shared this frustration with an entrepreneur friend who recommended the book “Traction” by Gino Wickman. He had finally managed to achieve his goals by implementing EOS®, the Entrepreneurial Operating System®. I read up on the subject and came to the conclusion that the system could help us. Together with the managing director, we decided to implement the system in the company. After a few quarters, we started to see results. I brought the system into two more companies and realized that it worked.

As a result, I decided not to take on any more IT projects and instead to concentrate fully on my work as an EOS Implementer®. I attended the EOS® Boot Camp and became a Professional EOS Implementer®.

One size does not fit all: PINNACLE

I successfully implemented the system in owner-managed companies for a good two years. Over time, however, I realized that the system offered me too little freedom. Every company and every entrepreneur is different. As the EOS® system is a closed system and tools can neither be added nor removed, I often came up against limits when it came to specific customer needs. I couldn’t offer the best service tailored to their needs and even lost customers as a result. So I looked for alternatives – and found what I was looking for: With Pinnacle Business Guides, I found a system that fully meets my clients’ needs. It uses the best tools from all available business operating systems and combines them in a framework that offers maximum flexibility.
